Ever since the Hobonichi Techo was introduced for the very first time, the "Colors" cover series has been a popular staple every year. The covers are made of soft, durable polyester and contains 2 bookmarks and lots of pockets. These classic covers strike the perfect balance between being easy to use and having a unique yet charming look.

While the exterior of this cover is a chic black, the interior opens to a deep beige hue, also known as yellow ocher. The subtle luster of the polyester gives this cover a refined look while also keeping a casual feel. The neat trim and soft feel make this cover perfect for using your Cousin techo in both business and private settings.

All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances

Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but as these products are hand-made, covers are not made as exact copies.

White spots around edges of cover

The very edges of the cover may contain white spots. This is an unavoidable aspect of the press-printing process.

Color may vary slightly between cover and pockets

The material for the pockets is printed or dyed separately and later sewn onto the cover. While colors are designed to be consistent across the entire cover, the shade of the pockets may vary slightly from the rest of the cover.

Cover on Cover bonus not included

Some A6 Original covers purchased through the Hobonichi Store come with a free Cover on Cover bonus, but A5 Cousin covers do not come with a Cover on Cover. If you would like one, please purchase one separately.

Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder

Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.

Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder

The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48") diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53") in diameter.
