This cover features a popular textile, “tambourine,” by fashion brand minä perhonen. The neon orange surface features large, hot pink circles drawn out with small, protruding dots to really bring the cover to life. “Bright, strong colors go well with a Zippers-style cover,” says designer Akira Minagawa, who created the neon orange fabric exclusively for the Hobonichi Techo.

- Inquiries about the minä perhonen collaboration covers
These Hobonichi Techo cover designs were directed by minä perhonen, but produced by Hobonichi. Inquiries about these covers cannot be answered at minä perhonen shop locations.
- All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but as these products are hand-made, covers are not made as exact copies.
- Spots on the cover exterior
The outer material of this cover uses stitching that protrudes from the fabric. There may be marks or spots on the material caused during shipping, but this will fade over time, so please use your cover as usual.
- About the zipper pull
The zipper pull is designed to have a little give to it, so carrying the planner by the zipper pull may cause tearing or damage.
- No outer pocket
Please note that this cover does not contain an outer pocket.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Depending on the material of the cover, pens with rubber grips may be difficult to slide into the holder.
- Maximum pen width for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
- Overstuffing the cover may result in tears
This cover is designed to store tools, documents, and other stationary together with the planner book. Attempts to close the cover when it contains too many items may damage the fasteners or material. Please avoid storing more than the cover can hold, so it can close easily.
- Cleaning a dirty cover
Polyester material tends to show smudges rather clearly. If you feel the surface of your cover has become dirty, we recommend dabbing the cover with a clean cloth dampened with diluted neutral detergent. Please do not use any kind of dryer on the material as it may shrink, and air-dry it indoors or in the shade.
