Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello, Ifm Iwasawa from the Techo team.
In this series, our team members share the planners and stationery we plan to use in 2026.
Today, itfs my turn to introduce mine!
Here are the planners and stationery Ifll be spending 2026 with. Ta-da!
For work, Ifll continue using the HON and Weeks, and for my personal life, the Cousin Avec.
(Ifm also entering my second year with the 5-Year Techo!)
When choosing my designs, my theme was: gThings Ifve always loved, with a sense of calm.h
First up is Moomin. Ifve always loved the richness of the Moomin world. It's filled with characters of many personalities and emotions, the bravery and kindness of Moomintroll, and the beautiful, delicate line work. Ifve read the books, visited exhibitions, and by the time I was writing the product text, my heart was already set! (Ifm actually the one in charge of writing the product descriptions for our Moomin lineup.)
For my Cousin Avec, I chose the gNight of the Big Partyh cover to use as my personal daily journal. I canft get enough of this little tail-inspired tassel!
This is my first year using the Cousin, and Ifll admit... I was nervous at first. gItfs so big... will I really be able to use it?h But once I started, I found it incredibly freeing! I can paste in so much, add little notes, and fill the pages with a yearfs worth of happiness. Its flexibility and capacity really won me over, so Ifll definitely be using it again next year. I can depend on the trusty Cousin to paste lots of things!
Since I keep it at home, its size and weight arenft an issue. (It does get thicker as I paste things in, so the Avec is just right.) And I love the idea of being able to enjoy the Moomin artwork in a larger size throughout the year!
For work scheduling and to-do management, Ifll also be using another Moomin item, the gTo the Outdoor Dance Hallh Weeks. The card is so cute, Ifll be sure to keep it safe!
I say this every year, but the weekly layout really is perfect for managing my tasks. I track events and interviews on the monthly calendar and the left-hand column of the weekly pages, while using the right side to work through my daily to-dos. Itfs such an easy system to use that I honestly canft imagine changing it anytime soon. How many years has it been now? This way of using the Weeks just feels right.
And as for the gTo the Outdoor Dance Hallh design, I just love the round little shapes of the charactersf behinds! That soft curve is what makes Moomins so endearing, donft you think? The pale blue background and light orange spine are also such beautiful colors. Ifm really looking forward to spending my workdays in 2026 with Moomin by my side.
Ah, and of course, I couldnft resist picking up some Moomin stationery too. Ifve actually already started using some of it in my current techo. Herefs how Ifve been using the Deco Rush tapes: I bought them in September but was so excited I ended up decorating my August pages!
There are two kinds of Moomin Deco Rush. I use the Hattifatteners for multi-day events, and Little My to mark special single-day plans. The way the Hattifatteners wriggle across the page just makes me happy. I find myself thinking, gCome on, long-term plans... bring them on!h Ifm a little worried Ifll run out soon... maybe I should start stockpiling?
Alongside my Weeks, Ifll also be using a HON (A6) Slash in Navy for work. To be honest, this was the item I debated over the most.
When I appeared on the Hobonichi Techo pre-release live video on YouTube, I was still unsure. Should I go with the Hiroko Kubota design, One Piece, or give up on a HON altogether and use the Moomin Graph Notebook?
After much inner Techo Kaigi of my own, I finally decided on... none of them! I chose the Slash (Navy) HON.
While I was still deciding, I worked on this 1 Question, 3 Answers article and spoke with Airi
, who uses two Slash HONs herself.
She said, gI like how simple the Slash design is. It doesnft distract me when Ifm working.h That really clicked for me.
When I finally held it in my hands, I felt a kind of calm, as if I was returning to the simplicity of when I first started using a techo. Ifm truly looking forward to using it every day in 2026.
Because itfs so simple, Ifm also excited about decorating it with stickers and making it my own.
(Though... that might end up being a distraction after all!)
And thatfs my 2026 lineup!
Even though I could start now, I have a rule to only begin using new covers at the start of the new year... so for now, Ifll wait patiently. Ahh, I can hardly wait!
Be sure to check out the upcoming Techo Kaigi post tomorrow too!
Below are all the items I mentioned today, if any caught your eye, take a look at their respective pages for more detail!

Hello, Ifm Mizunoya from the Hobonichi Techo team.
Has everyone decided on their 2026 techo yet?
Ifm actually using six different ones (!) this year, but Ifd be lying if I said I was keeping up with them all. Even within one book, there are pages I havenft touched, and itfs been bugging me. To shake off that lingering frustration, I decided to make next yearfs theme: Use every page of the Cousin!
Let me introduce the techo and stationery Ifm planning to use in 2026.
For personal things:
Tolight: Garden of Botany [A5 Cousin Size]
In 2025, I used the Weeks as a life log, but next year Ifll be recording everything in my Cousin. Herefs what Ifm thinking for each section so far:
Yearly Index: Habit Tracker
Monthly Calendar: Illustrated Diary (tentative)
Weekly Diary: Life Log
Daily Pages: Morning Pages or Input Log
Bonus Pages: Still deciding
My goal is to make full use of every page to let my Cousin hold everything personal to me.
I fell in love with the Garden of Botany cover at first sight. Ifve always loved check patterns, and the bright floral print layered on top was just perfect. It was the first one that caught my eye, so I knew it had to be this one!
Drama Techo:
Moomin: Hobonichi Graph Notebook (A5)
Ifve been keeping a drama log in a Day-Free, but when I noticed that the cover of this Moomin notebook shows Moominpappa struggling over a playfs script, I thought g... this couldnft be more perfect for a drama techo!h
In the Day-Free, I used the monthly calendar to jot down show titles and air dates, but with the graph notebook, Ifll list all the titles and episode numbers on the first page, then color them in as I go.
Thanks to the Add-On Sticky Notes I can plan my use cases.
On the following pages, Ifll draw each dramafs title logo and record my impressions. With the release of the Hobonichi Techo App (available in Japan since October 15), I now jot down my thoughts right after watching an episode. By tagging each entry with the dramafs title, itfs easy to look back later when transferring notes into my techo.
^How I use it at the moment. I write my thoughts once a week.
For Work: Makoto Matsubayashi: Dot [Weeks] + Tragen: Mustard
Isnft this combination just adorable? Ever since seeing it for the first time, I havenft been able to get it out of my head. Even now, every time I set eyes on it, my heart skips a beat.
I used a Cousin for work in 2025 but couldnft quite make full use of it, so this year Ifm switching to the Weeks.
Ifll write my to-dos on the left side of the weekly spread and use the right side for meeting notes. I also plan to jot down notes from Hobonichi School talks and Itoi-sanfs conversations here.
Ifve realized itfs easier to look back when I keep those notes in one place instead of separating them by date.
Undecided: Hiroko Kubota: Waiting on the Chord HON [A6 Size]
The design and the name are just too lovely, so Ifm looking for any reason to bring it home. Maybe glove at first sighth is reason enough?
Diary:
Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo (2nd Year)
Next year will be my second year using the 5-Year Techo. Ifm thinking of changing pen ink colors each year, and Ifm still deciding which one to choose next.
Stationery
After watching this YouTube video where Annen
and Shimida
introduced TSUKI no IRO, I wanted everything... but I started with these sticky notes.
(An English alternative version can be found here.)
The Guide & Shape Sticky Notes are perfect for leaving a quick message, like gGot it!h or gConfirmed!h, they're cute which is a plus and are already tucked inside my work techo.
The Add-On Sticky Notes are essential for my drama techo. Sometimes my thoughts wonft fit on the page, or I misplace a title logo, these come to the rescue every time.
The Happy Ice Cream Deco Rush is just full of cute ice creams with about three times more varieties than I expected!
In this YouTube video, one of our team members holds their own Techo Kaigi using their techo, so please check it out!
And be sure to come back tomorrow for another memberfs Techo Kaigi!

Hello, Ifm Yoshida.
Welcome to my very much ongoing Techo Kaigi.
Ifm an April-start user, after all.
Yesterday, Hirano introduced the techo he picked on Techo News and ended his post saying,
gTomorrow, another crew member from the Hobonichi Techo team will share their own Techo Kaigi.
I canft wait to see what theyfve chosen ? stay tuned!!h
...Well, um, I havenft decided yet!
Sorry... but itfs only just getting started!
Ifm part of the production team for the Hobonichi Techo, and since the April-start editions line up better with our schedule, Ifve always gone with those.
So thatfs probably what Ifll pick again this time.
Now that thatfs out of the way, let me tell you what Ifve been thinking about.
Weeks
An endless loop of Thatfs so cute... So stylish... I want it!
Ifm drawn to the blue-toned Weeks covers.
The gradation in Kyohei Sakaguchifs En Route to Kumamoto Port at Dawn is just beautiful.
The notebook with the same design is lovely too.
Ifm still not sure if Ifll be able to make full use of it, but the Weeks feels light and approachable, so Ifm thinking about how I might use it.
I carry my current Weeks with me when I travel, to jot down itineraries or stick in tickets from museums and trains.
Ifm still torn about whether to combine work and personal notes into one, but I think Ifll keep using the Weeks next year too!
Planner
I havenft used this one yet, but itfs so simple and cool.
A lot of the Techo Team members use it, and Ifd love to try it out myself.
When Ifm reading, I often jot down thoughts or lines I like on my phone.
Since I usually read while commuting, Ifve been thinking of first saving them quickly in the Hobonichi Techo App, then later transferring them into the Planner.
With the app, I could even snap a photo of the page and save it with my notes and comments.
Cousin
This is my usual work techo.
I often have to take notes quickly during meetings or interviews, so I love that the Cousinfs large size makes it stable and easy to write in.
My scribbles are so rushed that I sometimes canft even read them later (haha).
One of the reasons I use the Cousin is because I enjoy picking a cover.
But right now, Ifm eyeing the HON Slash (Navy).
Ifve always liked basic designs.
Maybe itfs because I admire people who use simple, well-made things for a long time.
When I first started working, one of my senior colleagues used the same black techo every year... I thought that was so cool.
For me, the techo might be something that brings me a little closer to that kind of adulthood.
Cousin or HON Slash...
I just canft decide.
I almost want to ask for your advice!
I havenft decided on my techo yet,
but I did pick up the Clear Brown Drawer Pouch.
Itfs exactly what Ifve been looking for!
Ifd wanted something water-resistant that I could keep by the sink, so the moment I saw it, I knew I had to get it.
I think Ifll use it as a makeup pouch.
My Techo Kaigi will probably keep going until the spring lineup is released.
Until then, please look forward to tomorrowfs Techo News!

Hello, itfs Hirano from the Hobonichi Techo team.
Has everyone already decided on their techo for 2026?
Some people make up their minds the moment the lineup is released on September 1, while others like to take their time until the very last minute.
Donft you ever wonder which ones other people picked?
Starting today and running through November 4, members of the Hobonichi Techo team will be taking turns sharing the planners they chose for 2026, and the thoughts behind their choices, in what we like to call our own personal techo meetings, our own "Techo Kaigi".
And to kick things off, itfs me, Hirano!
I work on content planning and editing for the Hobonichi Techo team.
Letfs start by taking a look at what Ifve already bought for 2026.
Da-dan!
Mr. Saturn, boing! One Piece, boom!
For 2026, I decided to go all in on impact.
The MOTHER: Mr. Saturn (Itfs Great) cover uses lenticular printing, so depending on the angle, he turns his head this way and that, wobbling and spinning around and around.
I used to have a firm rule when it came to choosing covers:
gTheyfve got to have a back pocket.h
So naturally, gMr. Saturn (Itfs Great)h didnft even make the list.
But no matter how many times I scrolled through the lineup page, or how many times I stopped by Tobichi to see the real thing, Mr. Saturn just kept... looking at me.
Okay, okay, fine... it canft be helped.
At that point, I knew hefd already decided he was coming home with me.
Letfs have a great year together, Mr. Saturn!
Next up, for my HON, I chose the special ONE PIECE magazine: Hirilukfs Cherry Blossoms edition.
Dr. Hiriluk, Dr. Kureha, Chopper... how could I possibly resist that story?
They couldfve made something simple and cute, like a Chopper-only cover, but instead, they went with the title of Chapter 153, gHirilukfs Cherry Blossoms.h
That alone had me crying (hieeeen!).
Even though it was printed in black and white back in Jump, I could see that giant cherry blossom tree in pink.
gGo on, you foolish boy...h(Waaaaah!)
Last but not least, here are the techos Ifve been using for 2025:
Original ¨ Mainly for work notes (and anything else that comes to mind).
HON (One Piece) ¨ For keeping a diary.
Weeks ¨ Memos from our weekly meetings + to-do list.
Ifve really come to enjoy this three-techo setup, so I plan to keep it going in 2026.
If you noticed there wasnft a Weeks in my earlier lineup... good catch!
Thatfs because Ifm switching over to the April-start version.
Ifll definitely be picking one up later. Absolutely.
Herefs my Original book.
I actually featured this one in the One Question, Three Answers article we shared in August, where I talked about my own little Techo Kaigi.
Funny how peoplefs hearts can change, isnft it?
Back then, I wrote things like gI need a back pocket!h and gI want special bonus stickers!h... and yet, here we are.
At the time, I really thought Ifd made up my mind...
This is a spread from my HON, which I use as a diary.
When I went to the Osaka Expo, I got carried away and even drew a picture in my excitement.
The postcard covering the left page is one I picked up at Shinsuke Yoshitakefs exhibition.
Itfs nice and thick, so it doubles as a writing board, and the back even works like blotting paper.
The boy on it has a natural perm, just like me, and the textgIf you donft like it, you donft have to show it!h feels perfectly fitting for a diary.
I started keeping a diary when the HON was released in 2023.
I wanted to try out the new book but wasnft sure what to write in it.
Then, right around that time, I got early access to the first beta version of the Hobonichi Techo App.
It was still pretty simple back then, but I could log my activities and save photos from each day, which made journaling so much easier.
It reminded me how having a digital version of the Hobonichi Techo can actually make you want to use the paper one even more.
Herefs how I use my Weeks.
On the left page, I list my daily to-dos and check them off as I go.
(Though, as you can see, there are plenty I didnft check off... still, that feeling of wanting to check them remains!)
On the right page, I jot down notes from Hobonichifs weekly meetings.
This particular spread was right before the Hobonichi Joys of Life event, so Itoi
was giving everyone a pep talk to get in the right mindset for the event.
I really recommend using the Weeks if you have something that happens weekly.
Whether itfs a TV drama, soccer games, lessons, or weekend hobbies, itfs a great way to capture one ongoing theme.
I also have a little yearly ritual.
Whenever I buy a new techo, I always put a favorite sticker on the very first page.
It might be one I got from an event, or one Ifve been saving for the perfect moment.
Then Ifll declare, gThis is the one for this year!h
For 2026, Ifve already decided. Itfs a sticker of the robot that starred in this yearfs Hobonichi Techo User Manual.
I got it on a day I was working at Tobichi, and I knew right away itfd be perfect for next yearfs techo.
I plan to start using my new techo and covers on New Yearfs Day,
but as I prepare and get everything ready like this,
it feels like 2026 is already right around the corner.
Thatfs all from me today!
Tomorrow, another crew member from the Hobonichi Techo team will share their own Techo Kaigi.
I canft wait to see what theyfve chosen ? stay tuned!

Hi, this is Iwasawa.
Today Ifd like to introduce the gFireside Chat Note.h
To be honest, Ifve always worried it might be getting overlooked among all the other stationery.
So Ifd love to tell you what makes it so great!
Herefs the gFireside Chat Note.h
There are four versions, and each one comes in two sizes: B6 and B7.
First, I love the cover colors.
Theyfre bright and cheerful, and just holding one makes me happy.
And therefs something here that always makes me smile when I see it!
Itfs the spine of the notebook.
The thread used to bind the paper is a different color for each one, and I love how it looks with the covers. You can really feel the care that went into the little details[it gets me every time.
Letfs take a look inside.
There are four kinds of inside layouts too.
The one with the pale gray cover is graph, the pale salmon one has lines, the blue-gray one is dot, and the yellow one is plain.
And check out the cute little design touches inside!
Theyfre inspired by words from gSafety Match,h printed on the cover.
Like how youfll find the word gtodayh or a little smiley face in the corners of the pages,
The gtodayh text is in the graph type, and the smiley is in the plain one.
Or a little moon hidden among the dots,
And therefs even a star hidden somewhere else!
Or a curly line mixed in with the ruled lines.
Some of the lines even wiggle!
There are all these playful little surprises in the designs, and finding them gives me a tiny burst of joy.
So, I started thinking about how I could use this cute gFireside Chat Note,h and I decided to pair it with my 5-Year Techo! At the end of last year, I finished my first 5-Year Techo and started a brand new one this year. This time, Ifm trying to use it a little differently[by not sticking things in it.
In my first one, I loved pasting in all kinds of little things, but as the years went by, it got thicker and started leaning to one side. It made it harder and harder to write in.
Herefs my old 5-Year Techo. The top part of the pages got bulky and kind of messy[lookingc
Still, after using the new one for a few months, I started to miss something. It is really nice to have those little things tucked in with your memories.
So I thought, why not paste things into the gFireside Chat Noteh instead, and keep it with the 5-Year Techo?
For example, sweet letters could go into the gFireside Chat Note.h
The paper in the gFireside Chat Noteh is Tomoe River, so itfs super thin and light.@Even if I carry it with my 5-Year Techo, it wonft feel bulky. And since itfs got a lot of pages, I can paste in as much as I like!
It even fits right inside the 5-Year Techo cover, so itfs great for carrying around. I can take it out when I want to write, and maybe even use a different design each year for fun.
I used the B7 size. It fits perfectly inside the Techo without sticking out.
The gFireside Chat Noteh and the 5-Year Techo[I think theyfre a perfect match, and Ifm really excited about using them together.
This is the last entry in the gCovers & Stationery Highlightsh series.
I hope this one helped you discover something new to try!

Hello! Itfs Komata here.
Everyone on the planner team is introducing their favorite planners and stationery items.
And today, herefs what I want to share with you!
gPaddington Goodie Bag Seth!!
For the 2025 Hobonichi Techo lineup, we got to collaborate with Paddington, the beloved bear from the classic picture books, who also stars in movies and TV shows.
In addition to planner covers and Weeks, wefve made all kinds of goodies [ stickers, sticky notes, handkerchiefs, and even paper bags!
So, letfs take a closer look at the Paddington Goodie Bag Set.
First up, there are two brown paper bags printed with Paddington happily munching on marmalade.
The back says gmarmalade sandwich.h
These were made to be just the right size to fit Paddingtonfs favorite food, marmalade sandwiches. They make you feel like youfve stepped right into his world in London.
Then we have another set of three white, tall paper bags printed with Paddington and Mr. Gruber enjoying gelevenses.h The striped sides are a nice little touch.
Mr. Gruber is one of Paddingtonfs close friends. Every day at 11 a.m., they get together to enjoy sweet rolls and tea [ itfs their little routine. So we designed these bags to fit pastries they might share during their tea time.
Ahh, so cute. And the small size makes them super handy.
Like when you want to bring someone a slice of homemade cake, share some snacks or souvenirs, or use it as gift wrap.
But then I wondered, is there another good way to use thesec?
Thatfs when my eyes landed on the pile of receipts on my desk.
Okay, real talk [ how do you all organize your receipts?
I file my taxes every year, so I have to hang on to the important ones. But after I get home from being out, taking receipts out of my wallet and putting them all in one placec I just never feel like doing it.
I tried keeping them in an empty candy tin, but opening the lid felt like too much work and I gave up. And when I hide them in a drawer, I forget where the bag even is. So lately, Ifve just been using a small envelope and tossing them in there. Not very cute, but at least theyfre all in one spot.
Wait a minute [ wouldnft these Paddington bags be perfect for this???
I tried using the tall white one. It stands up nicely, and looks adorable on my desk. Even those long, oversized receipts fit no problem. And since the bag has a gusset, it holds a lot.
Just last week, I got back from a trip, so I put the receipts Ifd saved to tape into my planner later into the white bag, and used the brown one to sort the shop cards, pamphlets, and coasters I picked up. Now it feels like I can start working on my travel pages anytime Ifm ready!
I think this gJust toss them into a Paddington bag!h method of organizing receipts really works for someone lazy like me,
so Ifm going to keep doing it this way for a while.
Maybe Ifll also use the April-start Weeks, the pencil board, and the gPaddington Reward Sticker Seth to start a little household budgeting challenge!
There are tons of other cute Paddington stationery items too, so definitely check them out if youfre interested!
–@–@–
When I was in elementary school, I was obsessed with the gPaddingtonh books.
So getting to collaborate on planner covers and stationery this time made me incredibly happy.
I reread the books last year, and wow [ theyfre still so good! Now that Ifm older, I really admire how Paddington lives freely without worrying about what others think [ but he still remembers to be polite and act like a gentleman, which is so charming.
It made me think, gOh, I really should go for the things I want to do more!h These books have been loved around the world for ages, so you can probably find them at your local library.
If you get the chance, I really hope youfll give them a read.

Hi, this is Momo.
Have you ever used the gHobonichi Notebook?h
There are a few different kinds, but I always use the plain one.
Top row, from left: plain, graph, ruled (A5 size). Bottom row: same, but A6 size.
Why plain?
Well, it started with something someone told me when I had just started working. (This was before I joined Hobonichi.)
On my first day at the office, the department head called me over.
The first thing he asked was:
gDo you have a notebook?h
Of course I did.
It was a typical ruled notebook. When I showed it to him, he said:
gLetfs try a plain notebook instead.h
cHuh?
Herefs what he meant:
Once you start working, youfre going to be asked to come up with ideas and opinions. To be someone who can really express those, it helps to have a plain notebook.
- Lines make you want to write gcorrectly.h So be bold and go with how you feel.
- Use words, use drawings [ whatever works. Itfs all about clearing your head.
- Donft lose that childlike curiosity.
Thatfs how you make space for new ideas and possibilities.
To be honest, I thought using a plain notebook seemed kind of childish. I felt a little embarrassed. But since the head said so, I reluctantly bought one.
At first, I wrote neatly from the top left corner of each page. But over time, my lines got wilder. I started sketching things, drawing diagrams... writing down thoughts, ideas, feelings, goals [ just anything that came to mind.
Old notebook #1
When I felt stuck, Ifd use arrows to map my way toward a solution, or just sort things out in my head.
Old notebook #2
When something felt hard to explain with words, Ifd draw it [ even if I was bad at drawing. That helped me communicate better. I think Ifve gotten better at explaining things to others too.
Old notebook #3
Sometimes Ifd write out whatever was screaming inside me.
gI canft even tell whatfs going on in my own head.h
gEven a random idea is fine [ I just want a hint.h
That feeling of freedom, and the way a notebook can really support you [ I wanted others to experience it too. So whenever new employees joined, Ifd recommend a plain notebook.
–––
All Hobonichi Notebooks use Tomoe River paper, which feels so good to write on. Your pencil just flies across the page. And I love how the notebook feels after youfve filled it up [ all soft and worn out. Lately, I try to carry less, so Ifve been using the A6 size. Sometimes I also use the ruled one, in addition to the plain.
Left: ruled, Right: plain. I stick on idea-sparking stickers on the plain one.
The ruled notebook is for handwriting practice.
I want to write beautiful vertical text, like the way Japanese writing flows from top to bottom and right to left. There's something about that flow that feels so elegant. That feeling really hit me after I turned 40.
I use the ruled notebook top-bound like this.
Depending on my mood, I carry my notebook, a paperback, and some stationery in my tragen. Sometimes two notebooks and some tools.
See? Perfect fit!
A notebook really helps open up ideas [ and yourself, too.
Notebooks are great.

How are you everyone?
This is Higashi.
Are you enjoying this series where we show off all the great things about our covers and stationery?
Today, Ifd like to show you the clear check "Drawer Pouch Ane," which can hold your Weeks and stationery together.
One of the best things about the Drawer Pouch Ane is how wide it opens with its accordion-style design and all the neatly divided pockets. The divider in the middle fits the Weeks perfectly like this.
Even the slightly thicker Weeks MEGA fits right in here.
I also tried putting in some stationery I use together with my planner [ and look at how much it fits!
One thing that felt especially useful was putting my go-to stationery into the "Flat Pen Case comodo," and then just slipping the whole case into the pouch.
You can store the pen case with the pens still inside!
If all you need is your planner and a few tools, you can carry them around like this.
Set it up so the Weeks is tucked under the comodo with its elastic band.
Being able to just drop the whole pen case in [ and switch up how I carry everything in no time [ was honestly a pretty great discovery.
Hope youfll check out the next post, too.

Hello! This is Asako.
Today, Ifd like to introduce a few cases that are quietly tucked away in the lineup of Hobonichi Techo stationery.
From left to right:
- Hobonichi Photo Album
- Hobonichi Card Album
- Hobonichi Safety Case
Each one is just what the name suggests: an album for photos, a folder for organizing cards, and a case that keeps your things safely stored. (Okay, the "Safety Case" is a little vague [ it's made to fit things like medical documents or passports.)
Personally, I think theyfre just the right size to use as a slim little case to carry around with your techo.
Theyfre all a bit smaller than the Original (A6) size, so they fit perfectly tucked inside the Hobonichi Techo Original.
If your cover has a pocket on the back, the case slides in nice and snug.
You can also keep it in the inside pocket of the cover. Just a heads-up: the Safety Case might feel a little tight depending on what you put in it.
Herefs what it looks like next to the Weeks. The case is just a little wider.
I tried putting different things in each one, so feel free to take a look and see what might work for you.
Photo Album
This album has 10 pockets that fit standard L-size photos.
Round stickers I got from a 100-yen shop fit perfectly inside. Itfs super satisfying.
On the right side are Hobonichi gAdd-on Pocketh card-size and ticket-size sheets. These come in handy when you want to stick shop cards into your techo but canft decide because the back side is cute too.
Itfs also a great place to keep packaging cutouts and things you plan to paste into your techo later. Since it doesnft have too many pockets, it keeps you from hoarding too much.
(I used to have a phase where Ifd just toss receipts and packages I wanted to paste later onto the table... and before I knew it, I had a whole monthfs worth piling up and felt overwhelmed. But if you decide, gIfll keep everything in this album,h it feels easier to keep up with things.)
Card Album
The Card Album has 16 pockets, all sized for cards.
The gHobonichi Double-Stick Tapeh and gHobonichi Stencilsh fit just right.
You can also slip in a small notepad.
And itfs perfect for holding pre-cut washi tape like gKITTAh! If you have a big collection, it might be fun to use a case just for your gKITTA.h
Next up: stickers. Ifve got a few different kinds, so Ifll walk you through them from the left.
Top left, I stuck some stickers from snacks I had onto a backing sheet I cut myself. We often get tasty snacks at the office, and I like to paste the stickers into my techo at home [ but I needed a little spot to keep them in the meantime.
Backing paper is probably best for this, but I couldnft find any at the 100-yen shop when I went. So I picked up some nail art paper palettes instead.
Bottom left are flake stickers. If you just toss them in, they fall out everywhere, so I put them in a card-size gAdd-on Pocket.h
On the right, I added stickers that already came with small backing sheets. These kinds of stickers tend to fall to the bottom of bigger folders and are hard to reach, but this case keeps them easy to grab.
The printed photos are from the iNSPiC printer, which works with your phone. Therefs a bit of room to spare, but it still makes for a fun way to save and look back at photos.
And on the right?clear stamps! One of our crew members had them stored in a different card case and I thought, gThatfs perfect!h so I copied the idea. If you fill all the pockets, itfll get thick, but itfs great for carrying around one or two favorites.
By the way, therefs a larger pocket (not card-sized) at both the front and back of the album.
You can of course use them for sticker sheets, like the ones I showed earlier.
Or, since the pocket is clear, you can put a photo inside and make it the cover. The one I used is my dog [ super cute.
Safety Case
Last up, the Safety Case. Itfs perfect if you want to store items of different sizes all in one place.
Therefs a pocket on the left side. It has an open flap at the top, so it holds things comfortably. Itfs the only one of the three cases that fits a B7-size notebook.
That stick going in diagonally is something I use to carry around strips of washi tape.
In the center, there are four card pockets.
The Safety Case uses a thicker, sturdier vinyl material than the other two, so it works better with flatter items. (Just FYI, the template that fit in the Card Album didnft fit in this case.)
Therefs another big pocket on the right side. This one isnft a flap style; the top and bottom are sealed. Itfs great for storing stickers securely.
...
I ended up writing way more than I planned, but if youfve made it all the way here, thank you so much!
Besides these cases, there are also pen cases you can attach to your techo with a band, document holders, pouches, and more.
There are so many great items for organizing your things, so I hope youfll take a look at the site!

HiI I'm Iwasawa [ letfs talk about the gTragen Flat Pouchh!
This is the gTragen Flat Pouch for A5 Size.h
Itfs a great pouch for carrying your HON, but itfs also perfect for the travel. My husband came up with a really smart way to use it, so Ifd love to share that with you. Here it is!
Can you tell where this is?
Itfs the seat pocket on a bullet train.
When he travels for work or goes on trips, he says the first thing he does after taking his seat on a train or plane is pull the Tragen Flat Pouch out of his bag and slip it into the pocket in front of him [ just like this.
The pouch holds all the things he wants to grab quickly, so he doesnft have to keep pulling things out of the bag in the overhead rack. He said itfs super convenient.@When he was looking for a slim pouch that could fit in the pocket,@he thought, gTragen might be just right!h
Herefs everything he had inside.
I laid it all out at home to take a photo.
In the large pocket: HON and a pen, a Kindle, and an eye mask.
In the smaller pocket: a glasses cloth, earbuds, a mobile battery, a phone charging cable, and an Apple Watch charger.
When he takes a nap, it also becomes a spot to hold his glasses.
I asked him what he likes about actually using it.
gIt feels strong [ like it wonft break even if I pack it full.
It gets kind of stuffed, but everything fits and the flap still closes.h
Even when itfs full, it still looks neat.
Totally get that! It holds more than youfd expect. What else?
gThe leather pull tab on the zipper makes it feel a bit fancy. It doesnft look cheap, and I like that. Plus it opens wide in an L-shape, so itfs easy to keep things organized.h
Oh! Thatfs exactly what Maiko, who planned this pouch, said was super important!
(She talks about it on this page.)
All that stuff fits in so beautifully.
It made me really happy to hear that he understood what makes it great, and that hefs getting good use out of it.
Hefs using the larger A5 size, but therefs also a smaller A6 version of this pouch.
Listening to him talk, I thought the smaller one would be perfect for carrying a phone, some medicine, or a small book while traveling.
So thatfs the Tragen Flat Pouch [ a great travel buddy, too.
See you next time!
