Everyone on the planner team is introducing their favorite planners and stationery items.
And today, here’s what I want to share with you!



“Paddington Goodie Bag Set”!!
For the 2025 Hobonichi Techo lineup, we got to collaborate with Paddington, the beloved bear from the classic picture books, who also stars in movies and TV shows.
In addition to planner covers and Weeks, we’ve made all kinds of goodies ー stickers, sticky notes, handkerchiefs, and even paper bags!



So, let’s take a closer look at the Paddington Goodie Bag Set.
First up, there are two brown paper bags printed with Paddington happily munching on marmalade.
The back says “marmalade sandwich.”

These were made to be just the right size to fit Paddington’s favorite food, marmalade sandwiches. They make you feel like you’ve stepped right into his world in London.



Then we have another set of three white, tall paper bags printed with Paddington and Mr. Gruber enjoying “elevenses.” The striped sides are a nice little touch.

Mr. Gruber is one of Paddington’s close friends. Every day at 11 a.m., they get together to enjoy sweet rolls and tea ー it’s their little routine.So we designed these bags to fit pastries they might share during their tea time.

Ahh, so cute. And the small size makes them super handy.
Like when you want to bring someone a slice of homemade cake, share some snacks or souvenirs, or use it as gift wrap.

But then I wondered, is there another good way to use these…?
That’s when my eyes landed on the pile of receipts on my desk.



Okay, real talk ー how do you all organize your receipts?

I file my taxes every year, so I have to hang on to the important ones. But after I get home from being out, taking receipts out of my wallet and putting them all in one place… I just never feel like doing it.

I tried keeping them in an empty candy tin, but opening the lid felt like too much work and I gave up. And when I hide them in a drawer, I forget where the bag even is. So lately, I’ve just been using a small envelope and tossing them in there. Not very cute, but at least they’re all in one spot.

Wait a minute ー wouldn’t these Paddington bags be perfect for this???



I tried using the tall white one. It stands up nicely, and looks adorable on my desk. Even those long, oversized receipts fit no problem. And since the bag has a gusset, it holds a lot.







Just last week, I got back from a trip, so I put the receipts I’d saved to tape into my planner later into the white bag, and used the brown one to sort the shop cards, pamphlets, and coasters I picked up. Now it feels like I can start working on my travel pages anytime I’m ready!



I think this “Just toss them into a Paddington bag!” method of organizing receipts really works for someone lazy like me,
so I’m going to keep doing it this way for a while.

Maybe I’ll also use the April-start Weeks, the pencil board, and the “Paddington Reward Sticker Set” to start a little household budgeting challenge!

When I was in elementary school, I was obsessed with the “Paddington” books.
So getting to collaborate on planner covers and stationery this time made me incredibly happy.



I reread the books last year, and wow ー they’re still so good! Now that I’m older, I really admire how Paddington lives freely without worrying about what others think ー but he still remembers to be polite and act like a gentleman, which is so charming.

It made me think, “Oh, I really should go for the things I want to do more!” These books have been loved around the world for ages, so you can probably find them at your local library.

If you get the chance, I really hope you’ll give them a read.
