Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello, Ifm Mizunoya from the Hobonichi Techo team.
Has everyone decided on their 2026 techo yet?
Ifm actually using six different ones (!) this year, but Ifd be lying if I said I was keeping up with them all. Even within one book, there are pages I havenft touched, and itfs been bugging me. To shake off that lingering frustration, I decided to make next yearfs theme: Use every page of the Cousin!
Let me introduce the techo and stationery Ifm planning to use in 2026.
For personal things:
Tolight: Garden of Botany [A5 Cousin Size]
In 2025, I used the Weeks as a life log, but next year Ifll be recording everything in my Cousin. Herefs what Ifm thinking for each section so far:
Yearly Index: Habit Tracker
Monthly Calendar: Illustrated Diary (tentative)
Weekly Diary: Life Log
Daily Pages: Morning Pages or Input Log
Bonus Pages: Still deciding
My goal is to make full use of every page to let my Cousin hold everything personal to me.
I fell in love with the Garden of Botany cover at first sight. Ifve always loved check patterns, and the bright floral print layered on top was just perfect. It was the first one that caught my eye, so I knew it had to be this one!
Drama Techo:
Moomin: Hobonichi Graph Notebook (A5)
Ifve been keeping a drama log in a Day-Free, but when I noticed that the cover of this Moomin notebook shows Moominpappa struggling over a playfs script, I thought g... this couldnft be more perfect for a drama techo!h
In the Day-Free, I used the monthly calendar to jot down show titles and air dates, but with the graph notebook, Ifll list all the titles and episode numbers on the first page, then color them in as I go.
Thanks to the Add-On Sticky Notes I can plan my use cases.
On the following pages, Ifll draw each dramafs title logo and record my impressions. With the release of the Hobonichi Techo App (available in Japan since October 15), I now jot down my thoughts right after watching an episode. By tagging each entry with the dramafs title, itfs easy to look back later when transferring notes into my techo.
^How I use it at the moment. I write my thoughts once a week.
For Work: Makoto Matsubayashi: Dot [Weeks] + Tragen: Mustard
Isnft this combination just adorable? Ever since seeing it for the first time, I havenft been able to get it out of my head. Even now, every time I set eyes on it, my heart skips a beat.
I used a Cousin for work in 2025 but couldnft quite make full use of it, so this year Ifm switching to the Weeks.
Ifll write my to-dos on the left side of the weekly spread and use the right side for meeting notes. I also plan to jot down notes from Hobonichi School talks and Itoi-sanfs conversations here.
Ifve realized itfs easier to look back when I keep those notes in one place instead of separating them by date.
Undecided: Hiroko Kubota: Waiting on the Chord HON [A6 Size]
The design and the name are just too lovely, so Ifm looking for any reason to bring it home. Maybe glove at first sighth is reason enough?
Diary:
Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo (2nd Year)
Next year will be my second year using the 5-Year Techo. Ifm thinking of changing pen ink colors each year, and Ifm still deciding which one to choose next.
Stationery
After watching this YouTube video where Annen
and Shimida
introduced TSUKI no IRO, I wanted everything... but I started with these sticky notes.
(An English alternative version can be found here.)
The Guide & Shape Sticky Notes are perfect for leaving a quick message, like gGot it!h or gConfirmed!h, they're cute which is a plus and are already tucked inside my work techo.
The Add-On Sticky Notes are essential for my drama techo. Sometimes my thoughts wonft fit on the page, or I misplace a title logo, these come to the rescue every time.
The Happy Ice Cream Deco Rush is just full of cute ice creams with about three times more varieties than I expected!
In this YouTube video, one of our team members holds their own Techo Kaigi using their techo, so please check it out!
And be sure to come back tomorrow for another memberfs Techo Kaigi!
