Cate joined us all the way from LA, where we are currently holding the preview event.

I couldn’t resist speaking with her when I noticed her adorable horns while she was waiting in line to enter! It turns out she’s an artist, and she’s been wearing these horns as her signature piece ever since she made them during her student days.

She stopped by to get a sneak peek at the One Piece items launching on October 1st.

We hope she finds something she loves!

Despite the rain, around 20 people were lined up before the store opened to purchase their Hobonichi Techos. Thank you so much!

ひとまず落ち着いて、
整理券をお渡しするようになっています。

店内は混み合っているものの、
おひとりずつ並んでいただいているおかげで
順調にお買いものしていただけています。


While keeping an eye on the sales status on the official Hobonichi Techo website, I went over to TOBICHI Tokyo to check on things.

The rush at launch has settled down, and now we're handing out numbered tickets. You can check the status of the tickets on TOBICHI Tokyo's official X.

The store is busy, but thanks to everyone waiting patiently in line, things are going smoothly.

カルフォルニアにいる奥さまとお子さん、
そして自分のジャーナリング用に
お買い物されていたJaimeさんにお話を伺いました！

Jaimeさんは横須賀にお住まいなのですが、
あと数日でカルフォルニアに帰ってしまうそうなのです。
そんな貴重な最後の期間に、
ほぼ日手帳を買いにきてくれたなんて、
とってもうれしいです！

ほぼ日手帳の、書きやすいところが
お気に入りのポイントなんだそう。
Stappoや久保田寛子さんのHONなど、
たくさん購入してくださいました。

今日のHappy Hobonichi Dayが、
Jaimeさんの日本でのよい思い出のひとつに

We had an interview with Jaime, who was shopping for the Hobonichi Techo for his wife and kids in California, as well as for his own journaling!

Jaime currently lives in Yokosuka but is heading back to California in just a few days. We’re so thrilled that he chose to spend some of his precious final days in Japan shopping for the Hobonichi Techo!

He mentioned that what he loves most about the Hobonichi Techo is how easy it is to write in. He picked up several items, including Stappo and Hiroko Kubota's HON.

We sincerely hope that today’s Happy Hobonichi Day becomes one of Jaime’s fond memories from Japan. Safe travels back to California, Jaime!

オープンと同時に、手帳が並んでいる文具フロアへ。
たくさんの方がほぼ日手帳を手に取ってくださっていました！

たくさん並んでいますよ〜。

私は手帳の発売を見届けるのが初めてなので、
じーんとしてしまいました。


Hello, I'm Yoshida, a new crew of the techo team. I came to Ginza Loft to witness the launch!

As soon as the store opened, I headed straight to the stationery floor where the techos are displayed. So many people were picking up Hobonichi Techos!

Yumi Kitagishi's techos and stationery are incredibly popular here, and there's also a wide selection of SPY x FAMILY and Paddington(TM) series items on display.

This is my first time witnessing a techo launch, and it really moved me!

The name of this text live updates, "Happy Hobonichi Day!", comes from a phrase everyone used two year ago on September 1st to celebrate the launch of the Hobonichi Techo.

This year, it's my first time experiencing this day as a crew member. While I'm a bit nervous, thinking "It's finally here," I also feel reassured knowing I have the support of my fellow crew members who have been preparing for this day, along with the store owners and staff around the world.
