Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello, Ifm Kawabata. I create content and handle the newsletter for the Hobonichi Techo team.
Welcome to my own Techo Kaigi!
I went back and forth between Tobichi and the Hobonichi Online Store to decide which techo to use for next year, and Ifve finally made up my mind! Our sleepy old rabbit kindly modeled for the photoshoot. Isnft he adorable?!
The reason I chose the Bow & Tie: In the Forest HON? Because therefs a rabbit on the cover! The Bow & Tie series uses real necktie fabric, with the motifs woven into the material. Youfll find rabbits, squirrels, owls, and even tree stumps. (My own bunny, who was half-asleep earlier, suddenly perked up!)
I did hold a little gTecho Kaigih in my head, but the result was unanimous, gIf you own a rabbit, you have to pick In the Forest!h, My bunnyfs fur may be a different color, but I love how realistic this design looks.
The Bow & Tie series is special in that each cover has a slightly different pattern layout. When I stopped by Tobichi, there were two on display, so I picked the one where I liked the rabbitfs placement the best.
I plan to carry it around in a Tragen: Flat Pouch along with some stationery.

Now for a little reflection.
This year, I gave using both the Weeks and Day-Free a challenge, but I never quite got the hang of them.
Ifve always admired people who use the Weeks so efficiently, so I gave it a try — but I got too caught up in trying to fit all my notes neatly into each weekly spread, and ended up feeling restricted, which threw off my writing rhythm. Herefs one of the days I took diligent notes from a meeting with Itoi.
As for the Day-Free, I had planned to use it to paste in packages and wrappers I liked... but they just kept piling up in an empty box instead!
I realized that using multiple planners at once is still a bit of a challenge for me.
So for 2026, Ifm going back to basics with a HON, one page per day! Ifve used it before, so it feels like returning to my roots. Ifll write work notes and ideas in my techo, and record my daily happenings in the Hobonichi Techo App.
Sometimes gSenpai,h the friendly in-app guide, even leaves the perfect comment on my photos!I may have given up pasting wrappers into my techo, but now I can just take a photo and record it in the app!
The Hobonichi Techo App automatically gathers your daily travel routes and photos, so keeping a record feels effortless. And gSenpai,h the guide who comments on what you post, is just so funny that I find myself thinking, gHey Senpai, look at this!h whenever I upload a photo.I canft wait to look back on it a year from now!
Thanks to the Hobonichi Techo App, Ifve built a new daily habit that I have a feeling will make 2026 a lot more fun!
Thank you for joining me for my Techo Kaigi and reflections!
Please look forward to tomorrowfs Techo News too!
