Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello, Ifm Asako from the techo team.
Here are the techos Ifll be using in 2026!
Somehow, they all ended up blue.
It wasnft intentional—I didnft plan to make them all the same color.
In fact, I didnft even hold my own Techo Kaigi this time. The moment I first saw each one, I already knew I was going to buy it. It was love at first sight.
This might be the first time Ifve ever decided so quickly.
Let me introduce them one by one.

For work: The Little House [HON (A5)]
Why I chose this design
The Little House was a picture book I treasured as a child. Its illustrations, colors, and story all felt different from the others I read—more grown-up somehow.
I remember feeling happy; it was as if I was reading a book for adults, and when I saw that a techo had been made to look just like that book, my heart skipped a beat.
Look at the front cover—
The spine—
And even the back!
Every detail feels so real—down to the touch. Even that smooth, glossy texture is the same. It looks almost identical to the original book, but with g2026h printed in a cute, glinting font. That little detail makes it feel like a special book just for this year, and I canft help but get excited.
I wasnft sure about the size at first, but I loved how the A5 felt like a slightly shrunken version of the picture book—so thatfs the one I chose. £By the way, even the inside cover of the original picture book is adorable!
My first A5 HON — how should I use it?
Once Ifd chosen the techo based purely on its look and feel, I had to face the next question: gHow should I use it?h
I want to spend as much time with this techo as possible, so Ifd decided early on to use it for work. But this year, my work techo is a Weeks Mega, not a page-per-day type. £From the Weeks Mega on the left, to the HON on the right!
Looking back at how my techos have changed over the years:
Two years ago —I used a Weeks + Original combo because: gI want to manage my tasks by week! (Itfs annoying to rewrite unfinished to-dos the next day.)h and gBut still want to take proper notes!h
«
I learned that carrying two books to the office doesnft suit someone lazy like me.
«
So this year, I switched to the Weeks Mega, which lets me keep both my to-do list and notes in one place. £One of this yearfs to-do pages.
Ifve gotten used to listing my tasks on the weekly pages. Itfs easy to write and Ifve come to like it, so am hesitant to change—but then I realized something.
For me, itfs easier to look back on work notes when theyfre tied to a specific date.
In the Weeks Mega, the memo space on the right wasnft enough, so I often wrote in its additional graph pages at the back.
But I found myself frequently thinking, gWhat was that thing we discussed back then?h and needing to flip through my notes to find it.
Compared to when I used a page-per-day techo, it took me much longer to locate what I was looking for.
Itfs kind of like rereading your favorite part of a book—you can find that scene by instinct, just from the feel of the pages, right?
Itfs the same with techo notes: when I want to revisit something I wrote garound that time,h I think I rely on that same kind of muscle memory.
So I figured this might be a good opportunity to try using a page-per-day techo again.

And when I thought about it more carefully, I realized that the A5 HON has the same contents as the Cousin—which means it includes weekly pages, too!
Which solves my other issue of wanting space for weekly to-dos. £I ran a simulation using tracing paper. It feels like itfs going to work well! Now Ifm just debating whether to write in English or Japanese.
Itfs been a long time since I last used an A5 techo for work, but just like how I once felt a little more grown-up reading The Little House as a child, I think this techo will help me spend the year feeling a little more like my best self.
Ifm already looking forward to it.

For personal use: Our Tamagotchi [Weeks]
Tamagotchi is another thing I loved when I was little (especially Kuchipatchi). This cover's made of tie fabric, and the characters are lined up in such a charming, slightly offbeat way that I couldnft resist—I bought it right away. £It even comes with cute stickers! That made me happy.
£Each item in the Bow & Tie series has a unique pattern layout. I bought mine from the Hobonichi online store, and when I opened it, I found Kuchipatchi peeking out right next to g2026!h
For daily notes
I already use a 5-Year Techo for my diary, but I tend to fill up each dayfs space. I don't currently have a place to keep things I wanted to remember—like bits I read in books or online—so I thought Ifd try using this Tamagotchi Weeks for that. £Something like this, maybe?
The space per day seems just right for jotting things down, so I think itfll be a perfect fit.

That was my (very long) Techo Kaigi 2026!
