This cover was created in collaboration with Makoto Kagoshima, a versatile ceramic artist who works with a variety of art mediums, including containers, drawings, paintings, sculptures, and cloth products. Cats are one of our customer's favorite motifs from Kagoshima’s art. Three gray cats are drawn among a variety of eight beautifully-arranged flowers that come in bright yellow, orange, blue-green, and peach. The print is applied on linen with a loose weave, making it delightful to the touch. The orange and blue-green ribbons of the bookmark add a cheerful accent.
