Hobonichi 2018 introduces four Beatles themed Techo covers by three creators, each with a different interpretation.
Illustrator Izumi Shiokawa created the art for this cover, inspired by her favorite Beatles song, “Blackbird.” The copper colored canvas features screen printings of the artwork of a blackbird and the words “Fly,” taken from the song’s lyric. The cover inspires you to follow your heart, to glide freely towards your destination, like birds in the sky.
