We made a small tote bag using the same textile as the minä perhonen felice (Blue) techo cover. The bag is large enough to fit a Cousin-size techo, making it perfect for a quick outing with your wallet, techo, and other essentials.
Birds and butterflies are nestled alongside flowers in this design named “felice,” which depicts living beings sharing joy with one another, as if each creature’s existence is a celebration of life itself. The textile is captivating in its sense of depth, with the folksy touch of woodblock printing and the interplay of light and shadow created by the embroidery.
Embroidered in blue thread on a soft cotton-wool blend, the raised texture is as delightful to run your fingers over as it is to look at.
The felice (Blue) tote bag gives the air of a quiet companion for your everyday life. We also recommend pairing it with the matching cover.
minä perhonen is a brand created by designer Akira Minagawa.
First founded in 1995 under the name minä, and renamed “minä perhonen” in 2003. In Finnish, “minä” means “I,” and “perhonen” means “butterfly,” expressing Minagawa’s hopes to create designs as light-hearted and beautiful as a butterfly’s flapping wings.
