This bag, made in collaboration with the German plush toy maker Steiff, looks and feels like a teddy bear with its indulgent use of Angora and Mohair goat fur. Hobonichi first worked with Steiff in making the popular, loveable Misunderstoo Bear.

This bag is shaped like a bear’s face, with its round form and ears. The thick fluffy material allows the bag to stand on its own without any support. You can choose from two sizes.

The lustrous, beautiful fur of the bag is the same mohair used in Steiff bears, sourced from Angora goats. The velvety texture, indulgently soft to the touch, makes this bag a true luxury.

The button and tag attached to the left ear of the bag together make the “Button in Ear,” a trademark of Steiff products. The tag designates that the product has passed the maker’s strict quality standards before being imported into Japan from Germany. The German inscription on the tag “Knopf im Ohr” means “Button in Ear.” This bag is extremely rare in that it bears this trademark, as Steiff has historically reserved the distinct honor for its plush toys.

Open and close the bag with drawstrings, each with teddy bear-shaped charms made of black leather.

Interior of the bag features two zipper enclosures on opposite sides. Sewn onto one of the interior pocket is a tag to mark the joyful collaboration between OHTO and Steiff.
