Mariko Tono is a photo essayist, hair & makeup artist.
She left her job at a Japanese company and moved to Paris,
where she works as a hair and makeup stylist, photo essayist and guidebook author.
She writes a regular blog about everyday life in Paris with her cute little Yorkie, Babu,
and has already published 12 books based on her blog .
For the last three years, she has held events in Japan featuring French goods,
and she opened the French goods shop “Boîte” in Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo in August 2014.

During our trip, we stayed at a charming B&B called [Le Domaine des Remparts],
run by the husband and wife team, Jacky and Marie.
In the morning we had delicious homemade jam on baguettes.
