リアムは、A6のHONを2種類の
タイ＆チーフで迷っているみたいです。
HONもタイ＆チーフの手帳も
使ったことはないそうで、興味深々。
1つは、チョッパーのヒルルクの桜。
どうしてこれに？
「ONE PIECE好きだから」
たしかに、今年も手帳本体は
ONE PIECE特別版を使っているもんね。
じゃあ、in the forestは？
「え、かわいいから。ふつうに」
weeksは、うってかわって暖色系の
シンプルな2冊が候補です。
ファインクラシックのワインブラウンと、
スムースのミルクココア。
「なんかね、カバンにいつも
適当に入れちゃうから、
丈夫そうなやつがいいなって」
そう言いながら表面をなでて、
硬さと手ざわりを確かめていました。
こっちは、実用的な理由で選んでいるけど、
なかなか、お目が高いですね。

革張りで少しざらざら、
スムースは、その名の通り
するするした素材。
さわった感触はだいぶちがうけれども、
たしかにつくりはしっかりしているし、
持ってみるどちらも手によくなじむ、
いい手帳ですよ。

He's never used a HON or a Bow & Tie techo before, so he's especially curious this time.
One of his options is the Hiriluk's Cherry Blossoms featuring Chopper.
Why that one?
"Because I love One Piece," he said without hesitation.
Makes sense, he's using the One Piece Edition for his techo this year too.
So, what about in the forest?
"Oh, that one? It's just cute. That's all."
For his weeks, he's leaning toward two simple and warm-toned options: Fine Classic Wine Brown and Smooth Milk Cocoa.
"I tend to just toss my techo into my bag, so I want something that feels sturdy," he said, running his fingers across the covers, checking their texture and firmness.
This time, his picks are based on practical needs. But I have to say, he's got a good eye.
The Fine Classic is leather-covered with a lightly textured feel. Smooth, as the name suggests, has a soft, sleek surface.
They're completely different to the touch, but both are well-made and sit comfortably in your hands. No matter which he chooses, he's getting a great techo.
