This Zippers planner cover is by niuhans, a fashion brand that uses high quality, all-natural materials for a simple and clean look.
The indigo blue material is a cotton-wool denim developed by a textile manufacturer in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. The material transforms beautifully over time. The cover interior is made from deep navy leather.
The left side contains 7 card pockets and a larger pocket that can fit postcards. The right side includes a key pocket, coin case, a pocket for IC cards or other smart cards, a pen holder, and an oversized pocket.
The pen holder holds a pen by its clip, and the cover does not contain bookmarks. The two matte nickel zippers have an elegant sparkle to them.
The cover is also useful for casually storing your book inside without actually installing it into the cover, making it easy to pull in and out of the case.
This cover comes with a postcard based on the four seasons, and a white box that fits the cover perfectly.
About niuhans
niuhans is a fashion label founded in 2010 by designer Daisuke Hamada. All products are made domestically in Japan and use natural dyes and materials. The label’s goal is to create products practical for everyday use, with a look that fits users of all ages, races, genders, and job types.
Daisuke Hamada was born in 1983, and at 21 went to France to study architecture and fashion. After that, he went to Paris and worked as an assistant designer for Maison Kitsuné before moving on to Ann-Sofie Back in London. In 2009 he returned to Japan, and opened his personal fashion brand niuhans in 2010.

- All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- Leather may contain preexisting wrinkles and marks
In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover, such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.
Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.- Leather coloring stains
Dyed leather products tend to leave stains. Please be careful not to allow the leather to adhere or rub against other objects such as clothing or other belongings, especially if the cover is wet from water or sweat from your hands.
- Indigo coloring stains easily
This cover uses material that has been dyed indigo blue and may stain other products that rub against or stick to the dyed material. The dye is especially prone to causing stains when wet. Please store the cover away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Textile fabric develops pills over time
Because the fabric material contains a mix of wool, it is prone to developing fuzzy spots over continued use.
- Pen is difficult to insert into pen holder at first
This pen holder works by holding the clip of a pen. The pen holder is rigid at first, making it difficult to insert pens. You can speed up the breaking-in process by rolling the pen holders in your hand.
- Overstuffing the cover may result in tearing or damage
This cover is designed to store tools, documents, and other stationary together with the planner book. Attempts to close the cover when it contains too many items may damage the fasteners or material. Please avoid storing more than the cover can hold.
- About the coin case
This cover includes a coin case to allow its use as a wallet. If the uneven surface makes it difficult to write, we recommend keeping only the left-side tucked into the cover, or not tucking the book-covers into the cover sleeve at all.
