This design was first released in minä perhonen’s 2011 collection. The concept was based on minä perhonen’s first studio and all the clover patches that grew around it. Go ahead and look for the one single four-leaf clover specially embroidered onto the cover for you.
The round droplets making their way down the threaded bookmarks lead to charms made from the same material as the inside of the cover.

- Inquiries about the minä perhonen collaboration covers
These Hobonichi Techo cover designs were directed by minä perhonen, but produced by Hobonichi. Inquiries about these covers cannot be answered at minä perhonen shop locations.
- All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but as these products are hand-made, covers are not made as exact copies.
- The unique feel of linen
The linen material used in this cover is made from all-natural fibers. Please enjoy the natural feel of your unique cover which may contain remnants of its original material, such as small knots or raw fibers.
- About the bookmark
The bookmark of this cover uses original mina perhonen lace straps. If you see any loose threads, we recommend refraining from pulling on it, and instead tucking it between other woven threads.
- No outer pocket
Please note that this cover does not contain an outer pocket.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Hobonichi Techo covers come with pen holders that keep the pages shut. Depending on the material of the cover, pens with rubber grips may be difficult to slide into the holder.
- Maximum pen width for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
- Color fading
Please avoid rubbing or wetting your cover as the colors may fade.
- Avoid using with Cover on Cover
This cover uses thicker materials than usual, so the Cover on Cover may not fit. Forcing it into a Cover on Cover may damage the products.
