Iwate Home Spun Pom-Pom Tweed is crafted from pastel tweed woven with a variety of yarns, from pale purple and pink to soft and fluffy cream and sparkling metallic gold. The zipper pull is complete with a light purple pom-pom that matches the look of the fabric and adds a touch of cuteness.



The words “Home Spun” in the product name reflect the textile’s distinctive handcrafted character and handwoven feel. The fabric is made at a small factory in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture, where every step of the process is carried out in-house, starting with the dyeing of the yarn. The mix of yarns used, including metallic, chenille, and knitted yarns of varying materials and strengths, requires it to be woven at around one-third the normal speed. This slow process allows the fabric to retain air, making it wonderfully soft to the touch. The zipper tape and interior are finished in a matching pale purple.

The Drawer Pouch Pocket is a mini pouch that can hold all your small items, like business cards, keys, earbuds, and more.
