Maha Haradamotta Linen Handkerchief with Gift Box

We collaborated with Maha Harada to create the Maha Art Techo Hobonichi Techo Weeks, and this is the handkerchief Harada recommends taking when making a visit to the museum. It’s a 100% hemp handkerchief with beautiful green wefts folded into the white warp.

The brand “motta” focuses on handkerchiefs and aromatic products, and their products have a natural texture and a soft touch. The handkerchief dries quickly after wiping your hands, is made from Japanese linen fabric with excellent water absorption, and has quick-drying properties. It can be used without ironing because it takes advantage of and features the wrinkles and texture of the fabric.

The size is relatively large at 44cm x 44 cm (17.3" x 17.3"). You can fold it into a 11 cm (4.3") square, so it’s easy to keep on hand or store in a pocket.

Maha comments, “The linen material dries easily and I love that I don’t need to waste time ironing any wrinkles out.”

The handkerchief comes in a beautiful square box, which you can use for yourself or when gifting it to a friend.
