The Drawer Pouch Dangle is a messenger bag-type pouch that allows you to carry around your wallet, cell phone, keys and pens. It’s perfect to carry around your belongings with you when you head to town, when you’re in the office or at home.

Illustrator Izumi Shiokawa drew this piece called “Polar Bear.” The illustration was first featured in a polar bear exhibit hosted by Hoboinchi in 2021, and was then featured on a 2023 Hobonichi Techo cover. Now it’s available for the first time as a Drawer Pouch design.

The polar bear cubs doted on by their mother are depicted with thick, soft lineart and given adorable expressions. The back of the pouch has a polar bear splayed out on its belly and relaxing. Just looking at it will give you a gentle feeling inside.

It comfortably fits an A6-sized book and has an ample gusset. Despite its compact look, it has plenty of storage and is perfect to use alongside a Drawer Pouch Pocket.

The pouch interior has a magnet button to close the pouch on the interior and a small pocket. The pocket is perfect to store items that you use frequently or are important, such as your lip balm and keys.

It has a thin strap to hang from your shoulder so you can keep your hands free while you carry around the items you need. You can adjust the length of the strap with an adjuster.

When the pouch is empty, you can compactly fold it like a paper bag so it’s easy to bring along with you.

Various Uses for the Drawer Pouch Dangle

Use it as a bag to bring with you on your walks. It will fit the Drawer Pouch Pocket that will act as a wallet, alongside your smartphone, earbuds, snacks and a small water bottle.

Keep your plane tickets, passport, wallet, pen and notebook and use it as a travel pouch. You’ll have easy access to the items you need and is convenient because you can keep your hands free.

Carry it with you when you want to wander around the neighborhoods of your hotel or go down to have breakfast. Bring along your room keys, wallet, handkerchief, books, and the minimum items you need.

It will act as a handbag to bring with you when you go shopping. Compactly store your smartphone, wallet, handkerchief and hand cream.

Store items to use in the office, such as stationeries and your techo, and mints and lipstick to use during breaks. It will prevent you from forgetting things when moving around in the office.
