Bottled Fountain Pen Ink

This is a ink that can be used with glass pens (dip pens) and fountain pens by iconic French ink brand HERBIN, established in the late 17th century.

Out of the bottled fountain pen ink lineup that is inspired by natural colors, we chose four colors that allow you to enjoy the depth in colors.

“Bleu Nuit” that evokes the image of dark night and “Café des îles” that’s like a coffee bean will be go well with formal letters. “Bouquet d’antan” in an elegant rose color and “Vert de Gris” that’s made with the image of a worn-out tin will look beautiful on its own or will add a pop of color.

It may take a while for the ink to dry, so if you want to prevent smudging the excess ink with your hands or for the extra ink to stick on to other pages, the blotting paper is an useful item.

Also available are Shimmering Inks.

Writing experience and thickness may vary depending on the color of ink

As the viscosity of the ink varies depending on their color, the writing experience or thickness may vary even when written with a glass pen in the same pen tip size. Ink in blue tones have high viscosity so the lines have a tendency to be more narrow, while ink in red tones are low in viscosity so they tend to be thicker.

Hexagon Glass Pen cannot be placed on the bottle's pen rest

Although this ink bottle comes with an integrated pen rest, the Hexagon Glass Pen cannot be placed here as the pen body is thick.
