minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs.
Embroidered flowers line a path in minä perhonen’s path textile. Look closely and you’ll see all the minute and unique details in each flower, made with a mix of plump, round embroidery and fine lines.
Although path is already a popular design, minä perhonen has created this new colorway especially for the Hobonichi Techo. The Weeks cover has a caramel-colored tint reminiscent of the sunlight bathing the path, and the embroidery is a refreshing green and gentle pink.
The daring use of corduroy, with its extra-fine construction, gives this cover a wonderful feel in your hands. The embroidery has been rearranged to fit the flowers along the long and thin shape of the Weeks cover.
The cover has a gray faux leather interior with a pen hook designed to hold a pen by its clip.
The zipper pull is made with natural leather and includes a butterfly charm.
When you walk your own daily path with this cover, its expressive, cheerful embroidered flowers will keep your days bright.

First founded in 1995 under the name minä, and renamed "minä perhonen" in 2003. In Finnish, “minä” means “I,” and“perhonen” means “butterfly,” expressing Minagawa’s hopes to create designs as light-hearted and beautiful as a butterfly’s flapping wings.

This cover is designed to hold only one side of the planner book cover. Forcing both sides of the book into the cover will place stress on the book spine and may cause ripping or hinder the zipper.

These Hobonichi Techo cover designs were directed by minä perhonen, but produced by Hobonichi. Inquiries about these covers cannot be answered at minä perhonen shop locations, so please contact the Hobonichi Store with any questions or concerns.
- How to use pen holder
This pen holder works by holding the clip of a pen. Certain pen sizes may make it difficult to close the cover zipper.
- Avoid storing in hot and humid places
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
