This cow leather cover for the Weeks was designed in collaboration with B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA. The pockets come in a range of sizes to fit passports, plane tickets, cards, and more.
The 2019-edition Passport Cover is created by sticking together two very thin pieces of leather and turning them into a single piece. This gives a beautiful finished look to both the interior and exterior of the cover. The cover is slimmer than ever by avoiding sewn layers when possible and keeping the simple pockets tucked inside the leather.
The leather exterior contains a beautiful textured pattern that’s been embossed into the material.
The classic black color scheme is consistent throughout the cover to give it a sophisticated look. The base of the interior is smooth leather, while the pockets contain the same texture as the exterior.
The material looks different at each angle for a black hue that’s simple yet dynamic.
The indent in the center of the cover acts as a pen hook to store a pen by its clip. The word “pen” foil-printed in silver was originally hand-written by Shigesato Itoi.
The back of the cover is engraved with the logos of Hobonichi and B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA to commemorate the collaboration. Porter also contributed to the manufacturing of the covers, so the cover also contains a Tokyo Porter Made seal.

Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.- Leather coloring stains
Dyed leather products tend to leave stains. Please be careful not to allow the leather to adhere or rub against other objects such as clothing or other belongings, especially if the bag is wet from water or sweat from your hands.
- Immediately dry if it gets wet
Immediately dab your product with a dry cloth if it gets wet. Avoid drying it with high temperatures, and place it in a well-ventilated place in the shade.
- This cover is meant to be fitted with one side of the Weeks book cover
This cover is designed to hold only one side of the planner book cover. Forcing both sides of the book into the cover will place stress on the book spine and may cause ripping or hinder the zipper.
- Avoid storing in hot and humid places
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
