PorterConnect (Black)A5 Size (fits Cousin)

This Hobonichi Techo cover made in collaboration with Porter contains ample storage space while staying portable and comfortable to carry around. The cover is modeled after Porter’s hit series, which uses a supple, lustrous nylon and contains cotton batting. The material has a beautiful sheen and feels soft to the touch.

The glossy material is featured in both the interior and exterior of the cover, and the black color is a Porter fan favorite. Only the very inside of the cover, where you insert your book, has a refreshing yellow material to add a nice accent.

The strap attached to the cover slips over your wrist for easy carrying. The strap is also removable, allowing the cover to become more compact.

The large exterior pocket closes with a snap-on button. The gusseted pocket expands to hold more items and can comfortably fit a tablet or a small book.

The double zipper allows users to open and close the cover from either direction. Inside the cover you’ll find three card pockets, a clear pocket that can fit items the size of a passport, and a zippered mesh pocket so you have plenty of space to carry items you use regularly in addition to your Hobonichi Techo. The pen hook can store a slim pen. In the case of a thick pen, the pen can be stored by its clip.

The hook on the wrist strap, buttons, and zippers are all painted black in the A5 size Connect cover. This black paint will peel off these metal areas when using the cover for extended periods of time, and will eventually reveal the original color of the hardware underneath. This is just part of the process of enjoying the transformation the cover takes as it ages.
