| Mariko Mikuni is a knitting artist born in 1971 in Niigata, Japan. She graduated from Waseda University in the Department of French Literature. Mariko first began knitting as a young child after receiving knitting needles and yarn in lieu of a toy. While in college, she immersed herself in creative design by studying techniques and designs in western books. In addition to products featured in books and magazines, Mariko also designs kits and products. She joined Kesennuma Knitting in 2012 as a designer. |
