Hi everyone! Raquel here, today was a very exciting day as today was the last day of the Preview Event and the pop-up store will officially be open tomorrow in the ROW DTLA!

Our colleague, Wakana, joined us today after arriving from Tokyo, Japan yesterday; we are so excited to have her join us. She and I had the nicest lunch at Rappahannock Oyster Bar today, I ordered Teriyaki Salmon while she got fried oyster tacos.

At the end of the day, it was time for our Hobonichi 2025 Launch Party at 6PM! We set-up the space with party streamers and made a nice banner. We also ordered some food and drinks to celebrate! After the festivities the team started setting up for the pop-up store.

While we were preparing for the big day tomorrow, we decided to surprise Tsubasa with a birthday cake as it was her birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday Tsubasa!

It's almost 11PM here in LA and I have to get some rest as I have to wake up bright and early to help with finalizing the set-up of the pop-up store. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!


【お祝い祭りな１日】


みなさん、こんにちは！ラケルです。
今日がプレビューイベント最終日で、
明日からいよいよ、ROW DTLAで
ポップアップストアがオープンするという、
なんともエキサイティングな１日でした！

そして今日（日本では昨日）、
東京から来てくれた乗組員のが合流しました。
彼女が加わってくれて本当に嬉しいです！
今日は一緒に、Rappahannock Oyster Barに
お昼ご飯を食べに行き、
私はテリヤキサーモンを、は
フライドオイスタータコスを注文しました。
とても素敵なランチタイムを
過ごすことができました〜！

そして、一日の締めくくりには、
ほぼ日手帳2025の発売記念パーティーがありました！
パーティーのために飾り付けをしたり、
素敵なバナーをつくったり、
パーティー用に軽食と飲み物も用意しました。
パーティーでほぼ日手帳の発売をお祝いした後は、
チームでポップアップストアの準備を始めました。

明日に向けての準備をしている中、
昨日誕生日だったに、
サプライズで誕生日のお祝いをしました！
お誕生日おめでとう！

現在、ロサンゼルスはもうすぐ夜11時。
明日のポップアップストアの最終準備のために
早起きしなきゃいけないので、
そろそろ休まなないと、、、。
明日、みなさんにお会いできるのが待ちきれません！

When I asked about the techo covers they decided to purchase, I learned they were gifts for family members.

The "Fish Scale Crest" cover from yuge fabric farm is for their son, who is taking his entrance exams this year. You can really feel the love and determination from his mother in choosing this auspicious pattern!

The Weeks book with the Bow & Tie "Snake Toy" cover is for the grandfather. The zodiac design is sure to be a hit with his friends too! What a thoughtful choice.

It's wonderful to see a family using Hobonichi Techos together. Thank you so much!

I visited Ikebukuro LOFT today!

I heard from the staff that many customers had already come by since the morning, and I felt incredibly grateful. Thank you so much, everyone.

A big thanks to the staff as well for handling so many things.

Ikebukuro LOFT is located on the 9th to 12th floors of the Yodobashi HD Ikebukuro building, with the planner section on the 12th floor.

Since the building is under renovation, the smoothest way to reach the sales floor is to take the elevator at the back of the cosmetics section on the 1st floor!

渋谷ロフトにやってきました。

こちらも賑わっています！
お店の方によると、
「ミナ ペルホネンが特に人気です！」とのこと。

外国からの観光客の方も多いので、
タイ&チーフのSUSHIを
多めに置いているそうですよ。
そういえば、ここに来る道中で
たくさんの外国の方を見かけました。
かわいいお寿司が並んだデザインで、
日本のお土産としてもぴったりですよ。


After moving from Ginza, Wataru and I have arrived at Shibuya Loft.

It's thriving here too! The staff mentioned that "mina perhonen items are especially popular!"

Since there are many people from abroad, they've stocked up on more Sushi items from Bow & Tie. Come to think of it, I saw a lot of people from overseas on the way here. The adorable designs featuring rows of sushi make for perfect Japanese souvenirs!

Despite the unfortunate weather, the store is bustling with many customers.

I found it! The display is absolutely lovely.

There’s also an adorable pen with a strap that pairs perfectly with the Techo!

ペルー在住のFabiolaさんの手帳を紹介します。

「こちらが、私がふだん使っている
2冊のほぼ日手帳です。
A5サイズは個人や家のタスク用、
A6サイズは仕事のタスク用です。
それぞれにタスクを書き出して、
ジャーナリングと毎日見つけた
俳句で締めくくっています」

Fabiolaさんの手帳のページでパッと目を引くのが、
おおきな花を持った動物のキャラクターです。
空想的でアンバランスな感じが、
絵本みたいで、ときめきます。
うねる茎の形に沿って、
行頭のインデントが調整されているところにも、
センスが光っていますよね。

ちなみに、海外では「ほぼ日手帳」は
さまざまな呼び方をされています。
Fabiolaさんは「HOB」と書いていましたが、
そのほかに、「Hobonichi」「Hobo」が
よく見かける表現です。

Here's a look at Fabiola's techos from Peru.

"These are my two HOB that I currently use daily. A5 for personal/house tasks A6 for work tasks. On each I write every task that must be done on the day and completed with some journaling and a haiku I find everyday."

What immediately catches your eye in Fabiola's techo pages are the animal characters holding large flowers. The imaginative and slightly off-balance feel is reminiscent of a picture book and truly enchanting. You can also see her keen sense of style in the way she adjusts the indentations along the wavy stems.

By the way, "Hobonichi Techo" has various nicknames overseas. Fabiola writes "HOB," but it's also common to see "Hobonichi" or "Hobo" being used.

A few days ago, I saw him carefully packing the displays that are now beautifully set up in the store. It's so wonderful to see them displayed so nicely!
