Keiichi Suzuki tells us that his favorite guitar pick is a pink, 0.71mm, teardrop Jim Dunlop for his electric guitar and a medium orange Jim Dunlop for his acoustic guitar.

Jim Dunlap is a world-famous guitar accessory manufacturer based in California, which makes guitar picks, strings, pedals, and more. In commemoration of the Music of MOTHER event celebrating the 30th anniversary of MOTHER 2, we’ve produced a special Jim Dunlop x MOTHER collaboration item. It’s a decorative tin with an original MOTHER design, and Keiichi Suzuki’s favorite type of guitar pick to store in it.

The set includes 3 pink Delrin 500 0.71mm guitar picks and 3 orange Tortex® Triangle 0.60mm guitar picks, for a total of 6. One side of the pick is printed with the Jim Dunlop logo, and the other side is printed with one of three designs: “MOTHER,” Mr. Saturn, and SMAAAASH!!

The picks are made of plastic with excellent strength, elasticity, impact resistance, and durability, so they’re well-suited for a variety of situations, including jamming on an electric guitar and strumming on an acoustic guitar.

The tin design is based on British tobacco tins that Keiichi Suzuki has been using for a long time. It features Summers in the background and shows the captain of the boat that took Ness and his friends across the sea to Scaraba. The tin fits in the palm of a hand and the lid is easy to open and shut for easy access to the contents. This makes it a good option for storing small items like supplements or accessories.
