    Yuichi YokoyamaMossWeeks Hardcover Book

This Weeks cover features a collaboration with artist Yuichi Yokoyama, who is known for his fine art and graphic novels.

Yokoyama’s works uniquely portray the passage of time, with fragments of comic strips, powerful onomatopoeia, and wordless storytelling. His work is internationally acclaimed in the art and fashion worlds for its unique worldview, which surpasses the boundaries of comics.

The artwork for the Moss Weeks cover was also featured as the cover for the art book YOKOYAMA YUICHI PAINTING. The piece depicts the back of a man standing among great piles of moss in a terrible rainstorm. The unique use of color gives this piece of art a very mysterious feel.

The cover for this lightweight, hardcover Weeks book is reminiscent of the original art book and has been given a glossy shine. Carrying around such a colorful book is sure to brighten up your day.

    Hobonichi Store Exclusive “Special Box”

This tote bag features a print of Yuichi Yokoyama’s illustration, “Color Engineering.” The bag is a bit larger than the Weeks to provide room to carry the book along with other items. The interior is cute pink, and the bag includes a sewn tag with Yokoyama’s signature.

The box features a print of the comic Roy from the collection Fashion and Closed Room. The image depicts Yokoyama’s striking use of onomatopoeia in his “Neo Graphic Novel” genre. This box will be sent to customers with the Weeks book placed inside.

    Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product.
Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

Test fountain pens before regular use

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

Not for use with Cover on Cover

The vinyl material of this cover makes it incompatible with the PVC plastic Clear Cover. The products may become warped or stuck together, which would also make it difficult to open and close the book.

Cover corners are slightly bumpy and shiny

The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.

Book spine does not contain year label

This design does not contain the year labeled on the book spine.

Color may vary slightly based on viewing screen

The color of the product may be slightly different in actuality than compared to how it appeared on a computer or smartphone screen.

Products are handmade and may contain slight variances

This product is sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.

About the pattern on the box
