In the smash-hit manga One Piece, Straw Hat Luffy goes on an adventure with his friends in search of “the One Piece,” a legendary treasure. ONE PIECE magazine dives into the charms of the hit manga series in order to help fans further enjoy the world of One Piece. We have a special collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine.

A logbook is a record of events during the voyage of a ship. With this techo cover, you can write a logbook for your own life under the protection of the Thousand Sunny ship that carries Luffy and his pirates on their adventures.

The cover’s natural leather deepens in color and character over continued use, so the cover also turns into your own one-of-a-kind item as you treasure it over time.

The trifold cover’s opening flap is accented with a gold-colored button shaped like the face on the Thousand Sunny ship.

The cover interior contains a cloth section that’s printed with a nautical chart to give the cover the true feel of a logbook. There’s a pen hook on the right-hand side to store a pen.

There are several card pockets on the left side. The Mini Merry II, which is contained in the Sunny Thousand ship, is printed on the bottom-most card pocket with the “II” debossed. The lines of the debossed letters will stand out over time the more you use your cover. The bookmarks are composed of red and black ribbons.

The right hand pocket is foil-pressed in gold with a quote from Iceburg in English (which served as the origin of the name of the Thousand Sunny): “Sailing through the dangers of the thousand seas, shining happily like the sun.”

When you purchase this cover, you’ll receive it inside a special cotton drawstring bag modeled after the Sunny ship flag. You can store not only your techo in here, but various other items such as stationery, accessories, or anything else you please.

The Hobonichi Techo leather covers are made with all-natural materials that have their own unique appearance. Every leather cover is a one-of-a-kind, all-natural product, so you can feel good knowing your cover is the only one like it in the world. Here are some of the unique characteristics you can expect to find.

I wanted this design to look like a chic leather cover at first glance, but incorporate details from the One Piece series. Last year, we made the “Going Merry Logbook” cover as our first collaboration together. We went all out with that cover and based it on the Going Merry pirate ship beloved by One Piece fans. It had a cute button based on the shape of the Merry, a nautical chart on the interior material, a brand card designed like a Vivre Card, and a drawstring bag modeled after the ship’s mast.

The Thousand Sunny Logbook is this year’s creation for our second consecutive collaboration. In the series, the Sunny is named after a concept by Iceburg: “a ship as bright as the sun that will cheerfully sail through a thousand seas.” I found it really heartfelt how the Sunny still carried on the wishes and memories of the Merry, so I put the Mini Merry II inside the cover as if containing it in a Soldier Dock System. The debossed illustration turned out really well, so I hope you take a look. The drawstring bag and ribbon are red and black like the ship’s mast. The cover interior also includes a nautical chart design on the interior material, but the adventure has continued so far along that it includes up to Wano Country.

The Thousand Sunny Logbook uses natural leather that transforms over time. Just as the Sunny ventures across the ocean on its adventures, time also passes for this cover as it continues along the voyage of its owner... This concept works perfectly with leather that deepens in appearance the more it’s used. I hope you enjoy the passage of time with this very special cover.
