Tom’s BoxLapel Pin by Ryoji Arai

This charming lapel pin was designed to match the “I forgot when it was, but we sure had fun” Hobonichi Techo cover by children’s book author Ryoji Arai.

The Lion Sun pin has orange and gold lettering with a design that looks like a lion, a sun, and a person all at the same time. Whatever it is, one thing is for sure: keep this pin on you as an accessory, and it will keep your day bright!

The This Day pin contains the words “This day..." written alongside a warm-colored flame. The golden base of the pin is overlaid with red, white, and yellow colors. The image in this pin is from the children’s book This Day by Ryoji Arai. The pin is a perfect companion to use alongside the Hobonichi Techo as a symbol of the way users leave records of their everyday lives.

Candle Boy has a cute pink and silver candlestick character with its hands clasped in prayer. The touching image is from the children’s book This Day, which includes the phrase, “A small prayer on this day.”

All three pins were created by Tom’s Box, a children’s book store that was previously in Kichijoji, Tokyo for 23 years. The pins are great accents for jackets, bags, pouches, and other everyday items.
