Sunday Best TeddyWeeks Hardcover Book (Japanese)

Teddy bears meet regimental stripes! This charming Weeks book mixes the traditional with the cute.

Hobonichi has teamed up with German plush toy maker Steiff to bring you the Sunday Best Teddy Weeks book. Similar to other books in the Bow & Tie Weeks series, this cover contains the same material used in neckties, giving the fabric a textured, silky feel. And while the cover makes use of the regimental stripe pattern popular with neckties, it also adds Steiff teddy bears into the mix. These teddy bears add a playful flair to the well-mannered look of the gray and purple color scheme.

The back cover is printed with the Steiff logo to commemorate the collaboration between Steiff and Hobonichi.

The Sunday Best Teddy Weeks book features an exclusive version of a Steiff design printed on the endpaper.

This product contains a pamphlet in Japanese called “Welcome to the World of Steiff,” which explains the history and high quality of Steiff products.

The cover has been constructed as a light, hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket and a mini-size fold-out Hobonichi Japan Railway Map 2019.

Also available for sale is the regimental striped necktie that matches the Sunday Best Teddy design. You can keep a professional image with its traditional design and still be a little playful. The necktie makes a great gift when paired as a set with the Weeks book.

      Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

Test fountain pens before regular use

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

      Pattern alignment varies by product

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

      Use caution around sharp objects

The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.

      Imprinted year numbers may peel

The numbers of the year are stamped onto the cover in metallic or other colored leaf, so strong rubbing or everyday use may cause the numbers to peel off.

Avoid storing in hot and humid places

Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
