Available Payment methods
Hobonichi Store payment method varies depending on the the products, but commonly, you can choose from the three ways below.
• credit card
• convenience store payment and postal money transfers
• COD

Payment using credit cards
Your destination of delivery can be either domestic or international.
Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Amex, Diners can be used for credit card payment.
That is, the credit card with the marks indicated below.
| Please read before placing your order • Only use a credit card that indicates your name. • Make sure that the card you plan to use is before its expiration date. • The deduction date of your purchase depends on your credit card. Please check the terms of service of your credit card before ordering. • Your purchase will be charged on the next day given the start date of shipping preparation. We will email your detailed invoice when the charge is carried out. • If deduction for your purchase has already been executed for your cancel or return of goods, we will fully refund your purchase through your credit card company, but, according to your credit card company, there are times when you are charged with a peculiar handling fee. Please note that you will be charged for this fee. • When cancel or return takes place among two consecutive months, your charge will temporally be deducted from your payment account. Your refund settlement will be executed in the following month. • Note that foreign currency transaction loss or a service charge may occur depending on the credit card you are using. These fees are the responsibility of the customer. Make sure to check your credit card company's terms of service beforehand. • We can only accept one credit card number per one order number, so we can not accept changes in your credit card. If you wish to use another credit card, please cancel your order once, and while in distribution period reorder using the new credit card number. • Personal information provided for Hobonichi Store such as customer's credit card number is coded and data communicated using Thawte SGC Super Certs (128bit SSL). This is currently the safest encryption in use, and should prevent third parties from obtaining your information. |
Convenience store payment and postal money transfers
These methods can be used when the destination of your delivery is domestic, and payment total amount is within 30,000 yen.
Please pay in convenience store or post office using the enclosed payment slip within 14 days of arrival.
Keep your copy for more than 6 months.
You can check your payment status at Hobonichi Store Note as well.
| Attention for usage If your payment total amount exceeds 30,000 yen, or if you choose a gift dispatch, please choose another payment method. In case of convenience store payment, there are stores not available for this service. Please confirm the stores that suit your needs here. We will send a guide for payment confirmation when we can not confirm your payment in 14 days, given the day of delivery arrival. Please be forewarned that nevertheless, if we can not confirm your payment by any chance, we might limit your usage at Hobonichi Store. |
COD (cash on delivery) payment
You are able to use this method only if delivery destinations are limited within the domestic borders.
COD handling fee will be charged to you. For one order, we charge a flat fare of 210 yen (tax included) for handling.
| Attention for usage If you are willing a gift dispatch, you can not use COD. Please change your payment method to the credit card. • Please pay in exchange with your delivery to the deliverer. • If you are choosing COD, please indicate a reachable address so you can receive your product surely. • Please note that depending on the deliver company, there are destinations that COD can not be accepted, even within the domestic borders. |
Change method of payment
If the product is before shipping preparation, your method of payment can be changed through Hobonichi Store Note.

Please note that orders cannot be cancelled once it is under shipping preparation period.
Reissuing your payment slip (convenience store payment and postal money transfers)
Incase if you have lost your payment slip, you are able to reissue it at Hobonichi Store Note.
1) Please open Hobonichi Store Note by entering your email address and your password.
2) Click "Show details" in your order content where you wish for reissue, and open your order situation page
3) Click the button that indicates "Reissue my payment slip".
When you have finished these procedures, our delivery center will send you the payment slip to the address where we delivered your order.
Sorry for your inconvenience, but if you wish to change the address, please inform Hobonichi Store via email.
Please note that we would not be able to reissue your payment slip before your product has been sent out. Customers who used COD payment and credit cards, or if payment is already completed, we are unable to reissue your payment slip.
About issuing a receipt
If you wish for a receipt, there are papers that can substitute for an official receipt, depending on your method of payment.
In case of credit card
You are able to utilize your detailed invoice, or your bill, issued by your credit card company as an official receipt.
If you wish Hobonichi Store to issue one for you, after receiving your detailed invoice or your bill that indicates an order that you wish a receipt for, from your credit card company, give us your;

• proviso
and email us at store@1101.com indicating the above 3 points.
We will confirm your request at Hobonichi Store and send you a receipt in about a week.
* The issue date of your receipt will be the date of administration of your order bill transaction.
In case of convenience store payment and postal money transfers
By using payment handling slip (payment-slip) attached to your detailed invoice of your purchase, you will receive a copy of your payment transfer (receipt slip). This can be utilized as an official receipt.
If you wish Hobonichi Store to issue one for you, please send us the copy of payment transfer receipt to avoid double issuing and enclose a memo including;

In case of COD
At time of receiving your product in exchange of your payment, deliverer from the delivery company will hand you a receipt that can be utilized as an official receipt.
Also, Yamato Transport CO.,LTD has a service that issues a written receipt in exchange with the receipt that was handed to you. So please directly ask your deliverer at time of receive of your product.
In addition, if you wish Hobonichi Store to issue one for you, please send us the receipt that was provided to you at delivery to avoid double issuing and enclose a memo including;

An account inquiry that is issued by financial institutions upon payment can be utilized as an official receipt.
